About This Call
Rhode Island Defeats Hepatitis C (RID HepC) is seeking poster design submissions for a comprehensive program to seek, test, treat, cure, and eliminate hepatitis C virus infection in Rhode Island. The juror, Shepard Fairey, will select the most outstanding entries best illustrating the mission to defeat hepatitis C. These posters will become the front line of a public awareness campaign to bring hepatitis C out into the open, decrease associated stigma, and create community and camaraderie around hepatitis C.
Entries will be evaluated based upon both content supporting RID HepC's mission and aesthetic impact. Submissions should be visually arresting and clearly communicate an important message about eliminating hepatitis C in Rhode Island. Above all, the entry should inspire. A winning entry will be printed, with posters sold to promote the mission of RID HepC. Selected designs will be promoted in a variety of media and events.
Entry fee: $35.00. Submit 1-5 images. Eligibility: National. Winners will be announced December 15. For more information, visit www.RIDefeatsHepC.com.
