Portrayed: A Juried National Exhibition of Portraiture

Portrayed is an open medium juried exhibition of original and unique 2D and 3D portraiture artworks. Work must either depict a human figure or human face to be considered. All styles of portraiture are welcome, including Realism, Traditional, Abstract, Modern, Impressionist, Pop Art, Cubism, Surrealism, Contemporary, and Street art.

Works cannot exceed a weight of 50 pounds or be longer/larger than 60 inches in its longest dimension. Size and weight restrictions may be waived by contacting the Gallery Manager directly prior to submission. The exhibition will be co-curated by Gallery Director Amanda Bradley and Exhibition Juror Mark E Miltz. The exhibition runs Saturday, January 11th through Saturday, February 8th, 2025, with a reception on Thursday, January 16th, 2025, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The exhibition will also be featured digitally on d'Art Center's archive site.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 submissions, with each additional submission up to 10 total costing $5 each. A $5 media fee also applies. Submit 3-10 images of your work. Accepted works must arrive by 5pm Friday, December 20th, 2024. Awards include 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), and 3rd Place ($150). d'Art Center takes a 40% commission on sales. All work must be hang/presentation ready. Artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery and must provide pre-paid return labels through UPS or FedEx. Artist statements must be 555 characters or less.
