Portraits 2024 (2nd Annual Juried Exhibition, Publication, Sales)

Gallerium presents Portraits 2024, the 2nd annual dual exhibition and publication opportunity to explore and showcase humans through their faces. Visual artists in any medium from anywhere in the world are encouraged to share real or imaginary human faces through their art. Self-portraits, group portraits, and all abstract and representational artworks are accepted. Submission is free; a fixed fee of USD 40 (or USD 34 with Early Bird pricing) applies to selected artists only.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an online group exhibition from August 24 through October 24, 2024. Selected works will be published in The Book of Arts: Portraits publication, available online for free with high-quality print editions available for order. The exhibition catalogue will be published in glossy colorful A4 pages and promoted internationally through popular publication gateways. Selected artworks will also be promoted for sales via the online exhibition link; NFS and Sold artworks are accepted.

Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. All visual arts categories are accepted, including painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, and mixed media. There are no size limits or restrictions on artwork creation year, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred. Artworks must be entirely original work of the entrant and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Selected artists receive a digital certificate, online profile page on the Biafarin platform, exhibition catalogue listing, promotional materials, and regular reports with analytics and engagement data. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fees until the exhibition's official opening day.
