About This Call
The 44th Annual Port Clinton Art Festival is held in Highland Park, Illinois and attracts over 100,000 art savvy attendees and buyers annually. The festival features approximately 260 artist spaces spread over downtown streets and is one of the most acclaimed art festivals in the country.
Artists keep all sales income from the show. The festival provides staff support throughout load-in and load-out, booth sitting assistance, close day and overnight artist parking at no additional cost, and overnight security. Tent rental, pro-panel walls, setup/take-down help, and hotel discounts are available for additional fees. A comprehensive marketing plan includes digital and print advertisements, radio, posters, street banners, social media, and direct mail. Standard booth spaces are 12' wide by 10' deep ($950 + $60 permit fee) or 20' wide by 10' deep ($1,900 + $120 permit fee), with corner upgrades available for an additional $300.
Application deadline is January 18, 2027, with notifications sent February 18, 2027. Registration forms and show fees are due March 18, 2027. Late applications are accepted after January 18 with late registration fees applying after March 19. All artwork must be original work created by the applying artist(s). Artists must be present during all festival hours. Only white tents are permitted, and all tables must be skirted to the ground. Jury selection is competitive, and a wait list is maintained for cancellations.
