Pop Art-esque

Art Scene West is calling artists to showcase the spirit of Pop Art in their 2nd Annual Pop Art-esque gallery showcase. All mediums are welcomed for this opportunity to display contemporary work in a professionally curated gallery in the Marina District of downtown San Diego, California. The in-gallery exhibition will run from June 17th through August 5th, 2025.

All 2D hanging artwork should not exceed 30" on its longest side. Sculptures must not be larger than 16" high x 8" wide x 8" deep, and must not weigh more than 45 lbs. Artworks will be judged on quality, originality, and relevance to the call. The submission deadline is May 27th, 2025, with a $35 entry fee. Selected artists will be notified by May 31st and must deliver artwork by June 15th. The opening reception is Saturday, June 21st. A $75 participation fee applies for selected artists and covers promotion, handling, curation, and website/social media content. Art Scene West retains 40% of sales commissions and remits 60% to the artist. Artists are responsible for shipping and return-shipping fees. Unsold artwork can be retrieved or will be sent back beginning August 6th, 2025. Selected artists will have their biographies and artwork images published and promoted through Art Scene West's social media and website. All works must be original creations and available for sale. International artists are eligible.
