Pop Art and Illustration Exhibition

311 Gallery in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking pop art and illustration artworks for a physical exhibition running October 7-29, 2022. The opening reception is October 7, 2022 from 6-9pm. This call welcomes unique interpretations of pop art and illustration across both 2D and 3D works in all mediums including painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and sculpture. Audio and video submissions are not accepted.

All artworks must be physical, for sale, and ready for installation. Works must not exceed 72 inches in any dimension. Digital submissions must be printed as physical works. Works will be accepted on a piece-by-piece basis due to space limitations. 2D artworks must hang by wire or other acceptable installation means. 3D works must be able to stand with minimal or no assistance, or come with necessary display items. The gallery has a limited supply of pedestals.

Entry deadline is 11:59 pm CST September 23, 2022. Entry fee is $30 for the first work and $5 for each additional work, up to a maximum of 4 works for $45 total. Artists may submit 1-4 works as JPEGs (at least 1000px at widest dimension, up to 2000px, not exceeding 4MB per image). For 3D work requiring multiple perspectives, include multiple views in one image. Images containing 2 separate works will be disqualified. This exhibition is open to all living artists in the United States. Artists will be notified of acceptance status approximately one week after the call ends. If accepted, works should be shipped or hand delivered by specified dates (September 29-30 from 12-4pm, or October 1 from 12-6pm).
