Pop!

Impasto Art Gallery presents Pop!, a group exhibition seeking works inspired by pop culture. This theme is open to interpretation. The exhibition is an opportunity for artists to exhibit and sell their work in Impasto Art Gallery's urban chic space in Prospect New Town. The gallery will sponsor an opening reception night for artists and collectors including wine and appetizers, and will showcase the exhibition online with modern presentation and convenient online shopping. Artist work from the exhibition will be featured and promoted daily through the gallery's social media channels.

Event dates are May 4-31, 2018. Opening night is Friday, May 4th, 6pm-9pm. Artists will be notified on Monday, April 16th, 2018. Artwork must be received by the gallery no later than Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 (hand delivered or shipped by FedEx or UPS).

Open to all artists. No reproductions accepted; each entry must be original in concept and composition executed solely by the submitting artist. Artwork cannot exceed 36 inches in any dimension including frame. Acceptable mediums include: photography, fabric, mixed media, new media, paintings (acrylic, oil, watercolor), drawings, ink, graphite, pastels, colored pencil, encaustic, and fiber arts. Jewelry, video, and sculpture are excluded. All work must be wired and ready to hang on the wall. Selected artists must sign an artist agreement. Impasto Art Gallery takes 25% commission on all pieces sold. At conclusion of exhibit, unsold art must be picked up or shipped back to artist (artist provides pre-paid return label).

Entry fee: $35.00 for first image, $5 each additional image (non-refundable). Submit 1-10 images. All artists who sell artwork must complete a W-9 form prior to payment.
