About This Call

Theme: Poignance. Difficult Emotions, and Experiencing or Healing past Peril with Community and Expression.

“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.” –J.R.R. Tolkien

Pantheon Arts Community Storytelling is proud to present “Poignance Past Winter”, where we work alongside our Affinity Partner Expensify in the heart of downtown Portland to create a free communal exhibition space for artists of many mediums to capture the ideals of spring and rebirth on May 16th and 17th. This is our first Community Gallery, and we are eager to be able to share this beautiful Italian marbled foundation with space for yourselves and many other artists in solidarity to a brighter way through the forests we walk: in solitude, but not alone.
