About This Call
Kolaj Institute is accepting applications for the PoetryXCollage Residencies, Spring 2026. Two residencies are available: a five-session virtual residency called The Elusive X, and an in-person residency in New Orleans titled The Fragment as Verse on the Wall. Both residencies support artists working at the intersection of poetry and collage, with participants exploring interdisciplinary practice, community exchange, and strategies for presenting work on the page and the gallery wall.
The residencies are led by Jennifer Roche and Ric Kasini Kadour and include presentations, discussion, and peer feedback. The in-person residency coincides with the exhibition The Fragment as Verse and the New Orleans Poetry Festival.
