Plein Air Artists Colorado - Safer Outside Online Art Show and Sale

Online exhibition running April 1 – May 15, 2021. Titled "Safer Outside - Hope Springs Eternal," this show celebrates plein air artists' ability to continue painting outdoors during the pandemic.

Eligibility: Open to all current PAAC members. Work must be two-dimensional media (excluding photography, fiber, and digital media) and consist of original paintings completed en plein air in 2018, 2019, or until the March 21, 2021 deadline. Studio paintings, still life paintings not clearly completed outdoors, work done in class or under instructor guidance, and works previously exhibited in PAAC National shows are not eligible. Artists who withdraw accepted work become ineligible for PAAC exhibitions for two succeeding years.

Entry Requirements: Submit 3-5 images through CaFÉ (www.CallForEntry.org). Entry fee is $25 for up to 3 submissions and $10 for each additional image (maximum 5 images, maximum fee $45). A minimum of 3 submissions is required; if submitting fewer than 3 images, fill remaining slots with blank JPGs or duplicate entries. All accepted work must be available for sale at the unframed retail price specified in CaFÉ with no late changes. PAAC retains a 20% commission on all sales. Artists are responsible for arranging sales directly with buyers and remitting commission to PAAC. A maximum of 2 images may be selected to hang in the show. Notification of acceptance will be emailed by March 29, 2021. Juror: Ron Donoughe. Cash prizes will be awarded based on entries. All fees are non-refundable. Artists retain copyright but agree to PAAC's use of images for publicity and archival purposes.
