Plein Air Artists Colorado 25th National Juried Art Exhibit and Sale

25th Annual National Juried Fine Art Exhibition and Sale held at Mary Williams Fine Art, 5311 Western Ave, Unit 112, Boulder, CO 80301. Exhibition runs November 10 – December 31, 2022. Opening Reception and Awards Presentation on November 10, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm.

Eligible entries are open to all current PAAC members and must be original paintings completed en plein air in 2020, 2021, and until the deadline in 2022. Work must be two-dimensional media, excluding photography, fiber, and digital media. Studio paintings and still life paintings completed indoors are not eligible. Maximum unframed size is 154 square inches. Works previously exhibited in PAAC National shows are not eligible. Entry requires submission of 3-5 images. Entry fee is $50 for 3 submissions, plus $10 for each additional submission up to 2 (maximum 5 submissions for $70 total). Media fee is $10.

Accepted artwork will be selected by a panel of nationally recognized professional plein air artists who are signature members in major national art organizations. The Juror of Awards is Skip Whitcomb. Nearly $20,000 in prizes (cash and merchandise) were awarded at the last show. Notification of acceptance will be sent by July 15, 2022. Artwork must be professionally framed in fine art gallery-quality wood frame and wired ready to hang. Minimum sale price is $450. Commission structure: 50% Artist, 40% Gallery, 10% PAAC. Hand delivery of artwork is October 31 – November 3, 2022 between 11am and 5pm, or artwork may be shipped to arrive during that same period. Unsold artwork may be picked up January 2-5, 2023 between 11am and 5pm. Payment to artists for sold works is February 15, 2023.
