Plein Air Artists Colorado 19th National Juried Fine Art Exhibition and Sale

Plein Air Artists Colorado's 19th National Juried Fine Art Exhibition and Sale will be held July 30 – August 30, 2015 at Mary Williams Fine Arts, 5311 Western Avenue, Suite 112, Boulder, Colorado 80301. This exhibition is open to all current PAAC members working in two-dimensional media, excluding photography, mixed media, fiber, and digital media. Only original paintings completed "en plein air" in 2013, 2014, and until the deadline in 2015 are eligible. Works previously exhibited in PAAC shows are not eligible. Maximum painting size is 575 square inches including frame. Paintings must be professionally framed in fine art gallery-quality wood frames, wired and ready to hang.

Entry fee is $45 for up to three submissions, with one additional image available for $10. A minimum of three submissions is required; up to four images may be submitted but a maximum of two may be selected for display. Entries will be juried by a panel of nationally recognized professional plein air artists. Last year over $15,000 in prizes were awarded. The juror of awards is Lorenzo Chavez, PAAC Master Signature Member. Both PAAC and Mary Williams Fine Arts will maintain online catalogs of accepted works.

Accepted work must arrive at the gallery by July 15, 2015. Hand-delivered work must arrive between 11am and 5pm and be wrapped in bubble wrap. Shipped work should arrive between July 1-15. A $25 handling charge per artist applies for shipped entries. All work must be available for sale with a commission structure of 40% gallery, 10% PAAC, and 50% artist. Unsold hand-delivered work may be picked up August 31 – September 5, 2015 between 11am and 5pm. Shipped works will be returned by September 10, 2015. PAAC will pay artists for sold works by October 30, 2015. Artists' Opening Reception is July 30, 2015, 5-8pm.
