Plein Air Artists Colorado 15th National Juried Fine Art Exhibition and Sale

Open to all PAAC Members working in all two and three-dimensional media (excluding photography, fiber, and digital art). Original paintings and sculpture completed en plein air in 2008, 2009, 2010, and until the deadline in 2011 that have not been exhibited in previous PAAC shows are eligible. Three-dimensional works must be no more than four years old (2007–2010) and have not been exhibited in previous PAAC shows. Edition size is limited to 45. Work done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.

Minimum image size is 80 square inches and maximum size is 800 square inches. There is a minimum price of $600 on any piece. Work must be available for sale. Paintings must be professionally framed, wired, and ready to hang. No saw-tooth hangers or frames with glass are permitted unless glass is covered with "glass skin." Sculptors may only submit one view per piece.

Entry fee is $45 for three submissions, $55 for four submissions, or $65 for five submissions (minimum 3, maximum 5 at $10 per additional image). Accepted artists are responsible for shipping and insurance both ways. Sales split: 2D work—30% Gallery, 20% PAAC, 50% Artist; 3D work—25% Gallery, 15% PAAC, 60% Artist. Exhibition runs June 24–July 9, 2011. Entrants will be notified by March 7, 2011. Shipped work must arrive June 13–17, 2011. Hand-delivered work must arrive June 21, 2011 between 11am and 3pm. Awards include Best of Show (Southwest Art full-page ad valued at $3,125), 1st Place Signature, 1st Place Associate, 2nd Place Overall, 3rd Place Overall, Awards of Merit, Honorable Mentions, Artists' Choice Award, Master Signature Award ($1,000), and Allen Award ($100). Judge: Don Sahli, Master Signature Member.
