Plaza Art Fair 2026

Now in its 95th year, the Plaza Art Fair is one of the longest-running and most celebrated art festivals in the country. Held on Kansas City's historic Country Club Plaza, the event attracts more than 95,000 attendees annually and is consistently ranked among the top fine arts festivals in the nation. The fair features 240 exhibiting artists and offers $10,000 in cash awards, individual artist electricity, booth sitters, an artist hospitality area, and free parking.

The event takes place September 25-27, 2026 (Friday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm). All artists must apply by 11:59 pm Central Time on April 12, 2026. Applicants must submit five digital images: four of individual pieces and one of their current booth display. The jury consists of five individuals including practicing artists and members of the arts community. Jury selections will be notified by email the week of May 11, 2026. On-site judging occurs Friday evening through Saturday evening, with awards presented Sunday morning.

Booth fees are $550 for a 12' x 12' space, with an additional $200 for corner booths (based on availability). Artists must provide their own weighted 10' x 10' tent, display materials, lights, and extension cords. Individual electricity (600 watts) is provided. All setup occurs on Friday, September 25, with assigned one-hour unload times. Artists must be 18 or older and present for the entire three-day event. Work must be original, with specific requirements for printmaking, photography, and digital art categories. Work generated by Artificial Intelligence is prohibited. Upon acceptance, exhibitors must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming CC Plaza Owner as additional insured with minimum $1,000,000 coverage.
