Plastic Camera Show

The Plastic Camera Show seeks artists working with plastic cameras including Holgas, Dianas, Spinners, Pinholes, and similar instruments. This is a national exhibition open to artists of all locations.

Application deadline is July 25, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury results will be announced July 28. Accepted artists must submit work by August 14, 2021. The exhibition runs August 20 - September 11, 2021, with a public reception on August 20 from 5-8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public; artists are encouraged to attend.

Entry fee is $10.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-10 images of your work. Artwork must be original and ready to hang with wire apparatus on the back; the gallery has shelves and pedestals available for 3D work. Artists may drop off work on Friday, August 13 (1-5 p.m.) or Saturday, August 14 (11 a.m.-3 p.m.). Shipped work must arrive by August 13 and must include a paid return shipping label with tracking number; packing peanuts are not permitted. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and insurance. Unsold work must be picked up on Saturday, September 11 (11 a.m.-3 p.m.) or Monday, September 13 (11 a.m.-3 p.m.), or the gallery will ship it on those dates. The gallery takes a 40% commission on sales. All artwork must be original, available for sale, and remain in the show until pickup or sale.
