Plantarium 2024 - 3rd Annual Juried Exhibition, Publication, and Sales

Plantarium 2024 is the 3rd annual juried exhibition and publication art opportunity celebrating botanical life on earth. The call invites artists to explore the vibrant and diverse world of plants and humanity's relationship with trees, leaves, flowers, and vegetation. Artists are encouraged to share their visual story of the plant world and create unique botanical expressions through abstract or representational art.

The exhibition welcomes visual artworks exploring plants in all forms, including botanical portraits, forests and green spaces, abstract botanical art, environmental art addressing conservation and sustainability, edible art celebrating food plants, and healing and medicinal plants. All real and imaginary interpretations in abstract or figurative style are welcomed. This opportunity is open to all artists working in any 2D and 3D art medium worldwide. Submission is free of charge; a USD 40 selection fee applies to selected artists only. Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an online group exhibition from September 28 to November 28, 2024. A curated list of selected artworks may be published in The Book of Arts publication, available in free online and paid print formats distributed internationally. Selected artworks will be promoted for sales via the online exhibition link, with NFS (Not-for-Sale) and Sold artworks accepted. Additional benefits include publication in an exhibition catalogue, digital exhibition poster, promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition promotion, analytics reports, potential publication in magazines and books within the Biafarin art network, a free online artist profile page, and a digital certificate.
