Plano Art Association: 125 Show 2017

The 125 Show is open to all artists living within a 125-mile radius around Plano, Texas. The exhibition features three categories: 2-D Artwork, 3-D Artworks, and Printmaking/Photography (Traditional & Digital). Each category will be awarded first place ($600), second place ($400), and third place ($200), plus certificates. Best of Show receives $1,000 and a certificate.

Entry fees are $20 per work for current Plano Art Association members (with coupon code) and $30 per work for non-members. Submissions must be original work not previously entered in a 125 Show and not copies of another artist's work. Artwork must fit through the PAA Gallery doors. All wall-hanging works must be wired with screw eyes or D-rings, ready to hang. The gallery cannot hang works with saw tooth hangers.

Submission deadline is Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance will be sent Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Artwork delivery is Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 (11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). The show runs Tuesday, August 23 through Saturday, September 24, 2016, with the awards reception and presentation on Saturday, August 27 (7:00 - 9:00 p.m.). Art pick-up is Sunday, September 25 and Monday, September 26. All sales are handled through the Plano Art Association, which retains a 25% commission.
