About This Call
Planet Earth is an online photography exhibition exploring the theme "Reflections on the Planet We Call Home." The exhibition invites photographers to explore the extraordinary diversity of life and land on our planet, seeking images that reveal the beauty, complexity, and vulnerability of the world we inhabit—both its natural wonders and human narratives.
Photographers are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly, including natural landscapes, wildlife in habitat or under threat, environmental impacts and human responses, indigenous cultures and traditional lifeways, urban life, climate change and conservation stories, and abstract or conceptual representations of Earth. Submissions may include up to 10 images in JPEG or JPG format with a minimum size of 2100 px on the longest side. Entry fees are $24 for up to 4 images and $4 for each additional image. All photographers internationally over 18 are eligible to apply.
The juror is Pinu Rahman, a celebrated lifestyle and travel photographer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Competition awards include First Place ($500 cash prize and solo exhibition), Second and Third Places, Honorable Mention, and Director's Choice. All selected photographers receive a digital award badge, and selected work will be published in a printed exhibition catalog. A short video presentation will be created and shared on YouTube and the gallery website and social media. The exhibition opens October 15, 2025.
