Pixels to Print

Digital artists are invited to submit between 1 and 3 works for consideration to this online exhibition. These works should be deeply personal and expressive and created exclusively through digital processes. Photos are acceptable if used as reference, but pieces should reflect work done from the artist's imagination rather than derived from professional service work for film, advertising, or game studios.

The exhibition is co-juried by Dylan Cole and Randy Gaul. Call opens September 16, 2022 and closes October 28, 2022 at 11 p.m. Pacific time. Artists will be notified of selections by November 4th. Show dates are November 8 to December 31, 2022, online at ohanloncenter.org. A Zoom roundtable discussion will be held at 4 p.m. on November 8, 2022.

Entry fee is $40 for non-members or $30 for O'Hanlon Members (use coupon code OH30 at checkout). Limited partial scholarships are available; contact [email protected] for financial assistance. New members can join at the Artist level for $140/year and receive a free submission. Work does not need to be for sale. Submissions must be in JPEG or JPG format only, with minimum dimensions of 1920 x 1080 pixels (1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side), under 5 MB file size, and RGB color profile. All software used should be included in the artist statement. Works previously shown at O'Hanlon Gallery in-house or online are not eligible. Open to all artists ages 16 and older. Contemporary, expressionistic, abstract, exploratory, and experimental entries are encouraged.
