Pixel Pastel Online Exhibition

Pixel Pastel is an international online exhibition open to pastel artists 18 years of age or older. The medium must be soft pastel on at least 90% of the painted surface; oil pastels do not qualify. All works must be original art and cannot have been created in a workshop, under another artist's supervision, or from published photographs. Work previously accepted in a PSEC exhibition is not eligible.

Entry fees are $40 USD for PSEC members and $50 USD for non-members. Fees are non-refundable. Artists may submit up to 3 images, though only 1 or 2 images can be accepted in the show. Images must be submitted as high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Payments must be made by credit card. Entries can be edited and images substituted until the deadline of October 31, 2024. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

All works must be available for sale, and PSEC will retain 25% of all sales from the exhibition. Cash awards will be paid via PayPal (winners must have a PayPal account and are responsible for any associated fees); Canadian artists may be paid by Interac e-transfer. PSEC is responsible for shipping fees related to material prizes but not for gift certificate prizes. By entering, artists grant PSEC a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of their artwork on websites, newsletters, and social media accounts with credit.
