Transmission Gallery invites submission of small-scale artworks for exhibition in Oakland, California, September 18 – November 1, 2025. This is the third national call for entries for small-scale artworks in any medium. Artists may submit up to 4 artworks.

Size specifications: 3D artwork may be up to 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high. Wall-mounted pieces may be up to 7 inches high x 7 inches wide, including the frame if framed. Accepted artwork must be original, ready to display, and for sale at a price not exceeding $1,200. Artists are welcome to provide a statement, though it is not required.

Entry fee is $35 for up to 4 pieces/images. Submission deadline is Sunday, July 27, 2025. Accepted artists will be notified on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Artwork must be delivered by either UPS (arriving by Thursday, September 1st) or in-person delivery to the gallery in Oakland on Sunday, September 7th or Monday, September 8th between 11am and 3pm. Pieces sent by UPS must include a prepaid return shipping label. Exhibition opening reception is Saturday, September 20, 2-5 pm. Artwork pickup is Sunday, November 2nd or Monday, November 3rd between 11am and 3pm. Artwork sent by UPS will be returned within 2 weeks. Transmission Gallery retains a 50% commission of sold artwork, with the artist's 50% commission mailed within 30 days after the close of show.
