About This Call

Transmission Gallery invites submission of small-scale artworks for exhibition in Oakland, California, April 25 – June 8, 2024.

Work specifications: 3D artwork up to 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high. Wall pieces up to 7 inches high x 7 inches wide. Work must be original, ready to display, and properly prepared for hanging. Accepted artwork must be for sale and priced up to $900. Artists nationwide are eligible. An artist statement is welcome but not required.

Entry fee is $35 for up to 4 pieces/images. Payment is made through CaFÉ via credit card. Fees are non-refundable, and there is no guarantee of acceptance. Submission deadline is Sunday, March 10, 2024. Accepted artists will be notified on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Artwork delivery by UPS must arrive by Wednesday, April 17th with a prepaid return shipping label. In-person delivery to the gallery is available Sunday, April 21st or Monday, April 22nd between 11am and 3pm. The opening reception is Saturday, April 27, 1-4pm. Artwork pickup is Sunday, June 9th or Monday, June 10th between 11am and 3pm. Work sent by UPS will be returned within 2 weeks. Transmission Gallery retains a 50% commission of sold artwork, with artist commissions paid 30 days after the close of show.
