PhotoPlace Gallery: On The Street

PhotoPlace Gallery invites photographers worldwide to submit work for the juried exhibition "On The Street." From fleeting glances to bold confrontations, street photography captures the unscripted rhythm of life. The gallery seeks images that reflect the beauty, humor, tension, and humanity found in everyday moments—whether shot in a bustling city, a small-town fair, or a quiet rural intersection. All genres, capture methods, editing processes, and printing styles are welcome.

The exhibition will be judged by Elizabeth Avedon, an internationally recognized independent curator and book and exhibition designer with extensive experience collaborating with museums, publishing houses, and galleries. Awards include a Juror's Award, Director's Award, and 3 Honorable Mentions. All selected photographers will have work published in a printed catalog and featured on the gallery's website and social media. The exhibition runs February 6-28, 2026, at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.
