PhotoMidwest Juried Exhibition 2020

Midwestern photographers are invited to participate in the 11th Biennial PhotoMidwest Juried Exhibition as part of the PhotoMidwest Festival 2020. The purpose of the Exhibition is to feature the work of great photographers based in the Midwest. For purposes of this exhibition, the Midwest is defined as including the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. All photographic imagery is eligible for submission, including traditional film, alternative process, digital, and all post-production techniques.

Entry fee is $45 for the first three images, with up to two additional images available for $10 each. PhotoMidwest members receive a $10 discount. Submissions must be made digitally via CAFÉ with the following specifications: JPEG or JPG file type, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB file size, and SRGB color profile. Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 5 images total.

The exhibition will be held online with a live webcast by juror Peter Turnley on October 16, 2020 at 7 p.m. CST. The exhibit will run from October 16 – December 31, 2020 with images featured on the website and social media platforms. Awards include Best of Show ($300 cash award), three Honorable Mention awards ($100 each), and a People's Choice Award. All artists will receive email notification of acceptance.
