PhotoMidwest Juried Exhibition 2018

PhotoMidwest welcomes Midwestern photographers to participate in the 10th Biennial PhotoMidwest 2018 Juried Exhibition as part of the PhotoMidwest Festival 2018. The purpose of the exhibition is to feature the work of great photographers based in the Midwest. For purposes of this exhibition, the Midwest is defined as including the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. All photographic imagery is eligible for submission, including traditional film, alternative process, digital, and all post-production techniques.

Submission deadline: June 29, 2018. Entry fee is $45 for the first three images. Up to two additional images may be submitted for $10 each. PhotoMidwest members receive a $10 discount. Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 5 images. All submissions must be made digitally via www.CallForEntry.org.

The exhibition will be held at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin from September 11 - December 2, 2018. A reception and gallery talk will be held at 7:30 pm on October 5, 2018. Everyone who submits will receive an email notification of which images, if any, were accepted for exhibition. Accepted images will be posted on PhotoMidwest's website along with instructions for preparing images for gallery presentation. The largest dimension of framed images must be less than or equal to 30 inches. The PhotoMidwest Festival Committee reserves the right to reject any image that is unsuitable to exhibit at the Overture Center for the Arts or whose framing does not meet professional presentation standards.
