PhotoMidwest 2016 Juried Exhibition

PhotoMidwest invites photographers based in the Midwestern United States to submit work for the PhotoMidwest 2016 Juried Exhibition. For purposes of this exhibition, the Midwest is defined as including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. All photographic imagery is eligible for submission, including traditional film, alternative process, digital, and all post-production techniques. Entries should not have been shown at previous PhotoMidwest biennial festivals.

Submissions must be made digitally via www.CallForEntry.org. Photographers may submit 3 to 5 images. Entry fees are $45 for the first three images, with an additional $15 per image for up to two additional images. PhotoMidwest members receive a $10 discount on entry fees. The submission deadline is June 17, 2016. All submitters will receive email notification of acceptance. The exhibition will be held at The Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin, from September 9 through December 5, 2016.

Juror Larry Fink will select three top images at the PhotoMidwest Invitational reception, with cash awards of $500 for Best in Show, $250 for First Runner Up, and $100 for Second Runner Up. Three additional images will receive Honorable Mention recognition and a PhotoMidwest membership, including the weekly newsletter, access to interest groups and member shows, and discounted admission to ticketed PhotoMidwest Festival events.
