Photo Shoot: 2022

Black Box Gallery is hosting an open themed juried group photo show. The exhibition is open to all photographers and all themes, styles, and genres including landscape, architecture, portraiture, documentary, fashion, still life, conceptual projects, street, color and black and white, nature, and night photography.

Entry fee is $40.00. Applicants may submit 1-5 images. The juror is Todd Johnson, founder and director of Black Box Gallery, who holds an MFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and has 25 years of experience in arts education and curation. The deadline for submissions is September 9, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The exhibition runs October 1-20, 2022.

Black Box Gallery will provide free printing, matting, and framing for all selected works. The gallery will select 24 photographs for physical exhibition and an additional 30 photographs for the online gallery annex. All 54 photographs will be included in a catalog available for purchase on Blurb Books. Selected photographers must provide high resolution TIFF or JPEG files. Exhibition prints will be kept in flat files after the show for future promotion and sale. Black Box Gallery takes a 50% commission on all sales, with 50% going to the photographer. All rights remain with the photographer, and no sale or printing will occur without prior consent.
