Pets - 2021

Pets 2021 encourages artists to submit artworks that display all kinds of pets in artistic figures and positions. Both figurative and abstract art in any medium are welcome, including depictions of your own pets or others. Artists can submit up to 10 pieces of original artworks in 2 and 3-dimensional media. Artworks should be entirely the work of the entrant, executed without supervision of an instructor, and preferably created within the past 5 years. There is no size limit for submitted artwork. Artists must have all rights for publishing the artworks internationally.

Selected artworks will be published in the 15th special edition of Artistonish contemporary art magazine titled "Pets" in September 2021, and/or showcased in an international online group exhibition by Exhibizone from September 30 to October 30, 2021. Up to 100+ artworks will be selected for the online exhibition. Selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue available online and in print-on-demand format. All selected artists receive a digital certificate, a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform, a digital promotional badge for social media sharing, and a digital version of the exhibition poster. Artists will receive reports containing views, reviews, engagement rates, and sales statistics. Selected Biafarin members with Gold and Platinum membership receive free shipment of artwork(s) in case of sales.

Entry fee is $20 for 1 artwork and $10 for each additional artwork (up to 10 total). The competition is open to all visual artists worldwide. Artworks must be original and not copies or derivatives of other copyrighted or published work. Artworks including pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or inappropriate or offensive content are not admissible.
