About This Call
This is the 2nd annual event on the outside lawns of the fairgrounds featuring a maximum of 75 artists, allowing for less competition, less crossover booths and more potential opportunities to connect with shoppers. The event is open Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm with setup Saturday morning 6:30am to 9am. Application fee is $15, with early bird pricing of $250 if paid before May 25, $300 if paid after. Artists may apply in up to 2 categories.
The focus is on handmade & artist designed items but the jury will consider unique/creative gift ideas, authors, inventors and designers. Each event is juried separately and participating in one does not guarantee acceptance for future events. The organization encourages emerging artists of all levels and offers assistance with applying or booth setups. Artists are selected through a review of their work by a panel of experts.
Booth spaces are approximately 10' wide by 10' deep with at least 2 feet between booths. All artist exhibitor tents must be white with no exceptions. Professional displays are required and must reflect the pictures submitted for jurying. Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry, and any jewelry must be applied for in the jewelry category specifically. Vendor amenities include listing on Facebook event page, designated reserved unloading area, staff support throughout the event, and marketing through social media ads, posters, rack cards, and local tourism websites.
