Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival 2025 - 47th Annual

The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau presents the 47th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival on November 8 & 9, 2025, Saturday and Sunday 9AM - 5PM in Downtown Ocean Springs, MS. The festival is named in honor of the late Peter Anderson, a master potter and founder of Shearwater Pottery. Designated streets will be blocked to accommodate the festival with 300 spaces available for fine art and craft exhibits, plus food spaces and live music throughout.

This highly selective arts and crafts festival accepts only original, handcrafted work across multiple media categories including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, wood, and more. Selection is made by jury committee based on four images of work plus one booth display photo. Application deadline is August 1, 2025 with late deadline August 10, 2025 (late fees apply). Artists will be notified after August 21, and booth fees must be paid by August 21 to be included.

Awards include $1,000 "Best of Show" presented by Blue Moon, plus four $500 awards for Excellence, Peter Anderson Legacy, Creative Arts, and Booth Award. The festival provides vehicle access, free parking, security, and artist hospitality including morning coffee, snacks, indoor restrooms, and water. All work must be original and handcrafted - commercially manufactured items are not acceptable. Artists must exhibit both days and man their booths during festival hours.
