Persistence IV: d'Art Center's Annual National All Women's Exhibition

Persistence is an annual exhibition celebrating Women's History Month, featuring work from female artists across the United States. The exhibition is open to functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all mediums. This juried exhibition will be co-curated by gallery manager Amanda Bradley and exhibition juror Lori Pratico of the Girl Noticed Mural Project.

The exhibition is open to all female artists, 18 or older, residing in the United States. All work must be original and created without the aid of an instructor or kit, and must have been produced within the last eight years. Work cannot exceed 60 inches in its longest dimension or weigh more than 50 pounds; size and weight restrictions may be waived by contacting the Gallery Manager directly prior to submission. The exhibition will feature a variety of styles and aesthetics, with content appropriate for all viewers.

Entry fee is $45 for 3 submissions (one image per submission), with additional submissions at $5 each (maximum 10 submissions). Submissions must include 3-10 images. Awards include 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), and 3rd Place ($150). The exhibition runs March 19 - April 16, 2022, at d'Art Center's Main Gallery (740 Boush St., Norfolk, Virginia). A public reception is scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2022, 5:30-7:30pm. Accepted works must arrive by March 13, 2022. Notifications will be sent by email by February 28, 2022. Gallery commission on sales is 60% artist, 40% d'Art Center.
