Perry and Carlson Gallery: The Reconsidered Landscape

THE RECONSIDERED LANDSCAPE will be open to the public from December 1 through December 30. The jury will select works that exemplify the theme of reconsideration of the familiar, of how we see and perceive differently through each work. Special consideration may be given to artworks that address Winter, however this is not a requirement.

Please propose only artworks that are for sale, and specify the dollar amount for each work. Recommended prices are no greater than $3,000 per work, with the gallery taking a 50% commission. For 2-dimensional work (wall hanging), works must measure no more than 30 inches horizontally, including frame, with no vertical limit. Framing is at the artist's discretion; conventional wire hanging attached from side to side approximately 1/3 down from the top is required for hanging 2D artwork. No clip mounting or saw-tooth hangers will be accepted. With each work, specify: title, medium, size in inches, and retail price.

Accepted works must arrive by 5 PM November 29, 2016. Notification date is November 11, 2016. An opening reception will be held Thursday, December 1 at the gallery. All work not sold must be picked up by local artists by 6 PM January 4, 2017. Artwork with prepaid return shipping will be shipped during the first week of January in the packaging it was received in; return postage is the artist's responsibility. Entry fee is $30.00. Submit 2-10 images of your work.
