Peoria Art Guild: Nude Attitude 2014

Peoria Art Guild's 2nd Annual Nude Attitude exhibition features $1,500 in cash prizes. The event is open to international artists. Artists may submit up to two original works of art created after December 31, 2009. All works must be for sale and in gallery-ready condition with installed wire for hanging works.

Submission Deadline: January 17, 2014. Award Notification: January 31, 2014. Artwork Shipment Deadline: February 15, 2014. Event dates: March 5-10, 2014, with the main event on March 7, 2014. Entry fee is $40 (non-refundable). Submit jpg format files through the Café system at www.callforentry.org. Submissions must be completed original works; incomplete works will not be accepted. No substitutions of selected works are permitted.

Artists will be notified by email of acceptance or rejection no less than one week after the deadline. Accepted artists receive complimentary event entry plus three guest passes. The gallery commission is 30/70. Artists are responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. The Guild assumes no responsibility for damages during shipping. Artists must provide their own insurance; Nude Attitude bears no responsibility for loss or damage to works. If artwork is not picked up or return shipping is not arranged within 90 days of the exhibit close, the work becomes the property of Peoria Art Guild. The show promotes a broad interpretation of the nude but tends not to display works depicting arousal or graphic sexual genitalia; contact [email protected] with content questions.
