About This Call
The 63rd Annual Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair takes place September 27-28, 2025, at Riverfront Festival Park in Peoria, Illinois. As one of the oldest art events in the country, this nationally recognized fair was voted #88 in the Top Art Fairs in the Midwest by Sunshine Magazine in 2024. The fair accepts original works in ceramics, digital art, drawings/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, 2d mixed media, 3d mixed media, metal, painting (oils, acrylics, watercolor), photography, printmaking, sculpture, wearable fiber and wood. Artists must be 18 years or older and present during all fair hours. The application requires 4 images and has a $35 application fee.
Artist awards include Best of Show ($3,000) and three Awards of Excellence ($1,000 each), with all winners invited to return in 2025. The fair provides extensive artist support including convenient free parking, affordable hotel accommodations, breakfast and lunch on both days, an artist break room, overnight security, and over 200 volunteers. Additional perks include booth sitting services, a Saturday night Artist Awards Party at The Peoria Riverfront Museum, and a $22,000 marketing campaign.
Booth spaces are 10.5x12 feet (10x10 exhibit area) on pavement, concrete, or grass surfaces. Artists must provide white tents, lights, extension cords, and sidewalls. All work must be original and produced by the exhibiting artist, with reproductions limited to 20% of booth space. Artists must display a process statement describing how their work is made and materials used.
