People - 2022

People - 2022 is an all-medium dual art competition presented by Gallerium art exhibitions and The Book of Arts publications. The purpose is for artists to express their artistic world of human faces, feelings, reasons, and activities in celebration of people and life. Artists worldwide are encouraged to express their visual interpretation of the subject in their own artistic way. All abstract and representational expressions are accepted, and the opportunity is open to all visual artists working in any medium.

Selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: People publication and showcased in an international group exhibition online from December 29, 2022, to January 31, 2023. The online version of the book will be available for free, while high-quality print versions can be ordered via print-on-demand services. Selected artworks will also be published in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue available in both online and print versions. All selected artists will receive a digital certificate, a link to the digital exhibition poster, social media promotional badges, and a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform. Artists will also receive a report containing views, comments, engagement rates, and sales statistics.

Submission is free of charge. Only selected artists will pay a selection fee of USD 40. Artists can submit up to 5 original artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and executed without supervision of an instructor. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no limit for artwork creation year. There is no size limit for submitted artworks. Artwork photos should show only the artwork with no frames or extraneous backgrounds. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally. Artworks that include pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or inappropriate or offensive content are not admissible.
