Pennsylvania Watercolor Society 46th Annual International Exhibition

The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society invites artists to submit work for its 46th Annual International Juried Exhibition, held online at www.pawcs.com from September 20 – November 1, 2025. The Juror of Selection is Shelley Prior, and the Juror of Awards is Michał Jasiewicz.

Artists may submit one or two images for consideration, though no more than one entry per artist may be selected for exhibition. Entry fee is $55 for non-members or $40 for PWS members (with member code). A $10 catalog donation is optional. Work must be original watermedia paintings on natural or synthetic paper, completed within the past three years (after March 2022), and not previously accepted in any PWS Exhibition. All work must be hand-created by the entrant, free from copyright infringement, and based on the artist's own design or photograph. No class or workshop paintings are eligible. Accepted paintings must be available for sale and not listed for sale in another exhibition during the scheduled exhibition dates.

Awards include 1st Place $1,750, 2nd Place $1,250, 3rd Place $1,000, plus additional cash and merchandise awards. PWS Signature Status is awarded to members accepted into two PWS Juried Exhibitions within an eight-year period. The Sylvan Grouse Guild Award is given to PWS signature members who have earned six points through awards at annual PWS Juried Exhibitions. Entry deadline is July 31, 2025. Artists will be notified by email after August 23, 2025. Images must be submitted as JPEG or JPG files, at least 1200 pixels on the longest side, maximum 5 MB.
