Pennsylvania Watercolor Society 43rd Annual International Juried Exhibition

The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society invites artists to submit work for the 43rd Annual International Juried Exhibition, held online at www.pawcs.com from September 24 - November 5, 2022. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 or older. Juror of Selection: Anne Abgott. Juror of Awards: Stewart White.

Entry Requirements: Submit 1 or 2 watermedia paintings on natural or synthetic paper (no canvas). All work must be original, hand-created, and free from copyright infringement. Source material must be your own design or photograph; no class or workshop paintings. Entries must have been completed within the past 3 years (after March 2019) and not previously accepted in any PWS Exhibition. Images should be submitted as JPEG or JPG files, at least 1200 pixels on the longest side, maximum 5 MB. No more than one entry per artist may be selected for exhibition.

Entry Fees: PWS Members $35 for one or two images (using coupon code); Non-Members $50 for one or two images. Optional catalog donation $5. Awards include: 1st Place $1,750, 2nd Place $1,250, 3rd Place $1,000, 4th Place $800, PWS President's Awards $600, PWS Board Members Award $500, plus additional cash and merchandise awards. PWS members accepted into two PWS Juried Exhibitions receive Signature Status and are eligible for Sylvan Grouse Guild Membership. Artists will be notified by email after August 21, 2022. Paintings may be listed for sale or not for sale (NFS); accepted paintings cannot be listed for sale in another exhibition during the show dates. A 35% commission is charged on sales, processed by PWS. Artists are responsible for shipping to buyers.
