Pennsylvania Watercolor Society 42nd Annual International Juried Exhibition

The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society invites artists to submit work for the 42nd Annual International Juried Exhibition, held online at www.pawcs.com from September 25 - November 6, 2021. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 or older. Juror of Selection: Lana Privitera. Juror of Awards: Ted Nuttall.

Entry fee is $40 for non-members or $25 for PWS members (using coupon code) for one or two images. Optional catalog donation is $5. Submit one or two images, but only one entry will be selected for exhibition. All work must be original watermedia paintings on natural or synthetic paper (no canvas), hand-created and entirely the work of the entrant. Works must have been completed within the past 3 years (after March 2018) and not previously accepted in any PWS Exhibition. Source material must be your own design or photograph; no class or workshop paintings. Submit JPEG or JPG files at least 1200 pixels on the longest side, maximum 5 MB. Entry deadline is July 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Selected entries will be posted after August 22, 2021 at www.pawcs.com, and all entering artists will receive email notification.

Awards include 1st Place $1,750, 2nd Place $1,250, 3rd Place $1,000, plus additional cash and merchandise awards, with over $14,000 in total awards anticipated. PWS members are awarded Signature Status when accepted into two PWS Juried Exhibitions and are eligible for Sylvan Grouse Guild Membership. Artwork may be listed for sale or marked not for sale (NFS). A 35% commission will be charged on each sale, processed by PWS. Artists are responsible for shipping work to buyers. Accepted artwork cannot be displayed for sale in another exhibition, competition, or gallery during the scheduled exhibition dates (9/26/21-11/1/21).
