Pennsylvania Watercolor Society 2024 Members Show

The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society provides an annual online opportunity for its members to showcase their work. Members can sell their work and compete for 15 cash prize awards.

Artwork must be original watermedia paintings on natural or synthetic paper (no canvas), entirely hand-created by the entrant, and completed within the past 3 years (after January 2021). Works must not have been previously accepted in any PWS Exhibition, including the online Members Show. Source material must be the entrant's own design or photograph; class or workshop paintings are not eligible. Entries require 1-2 image samples in JPEG or JPG format, sized at least 1200 pixels on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB.

The entry fee is $10. Award notifications will be sent via email the week of February 19-23, 2024. The Members Show will be posted on the pawcs.com website on March 1, 2024 and will remain active indefinitely. Paintings may be listed for sale or not for sale; if a buyer expresses interest, PWS will provide contact information to the artist to pursue the sale directly. PWS charges no commission on sales. Eligibility requires membership as a PWS regular, signature, or life member with 2024 dues paid. Awards include: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $400, 3rd Place $300, 4th Place $200, 5th Place $100, and 10 Honorable Mentions at $75 each.
