About This Call

All screened PAL members are invited to show their artwork during The Summer Members' Show at the 39th PAL Summer Art Festival at Sehmel Homestead Park, July 18-20, 2025. All entered works will be displayed as long as they meet the exhibit requirements.

Awards include: Best of Show ($300), 1st Place ($200), 2nd Place ($150), 3rd Place ($100), Mary Bessette Award ($150), and Honorable Mention ($50). The juror is Davis Freeman, a nationally acclaimed fine art portrait photographer whose work has been exhibited worldwide and featured in Newsweek, People, and Fortune.

Eligibility: Artists must be screened PAL members, 18 years or older, with current membership dues. Artwork must be original works completed within the last three years, not previously entered in a Member Show, and must not be prints, copies, or works done in a workshop or class. All entries must be for sale; PAL charges no commission on sales. Entry fee is $20 for one piece of artwork (non-refundable). Submissions require 1-3 images uploaded online by July 7, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. All artwork must be delivered in person on Friday, July 18, 2025 between 3-5 p.m. at the Vern Pavilion, Sehmel Park. A $25 storage/handling charge applies to work not picked up at the end of the exhibit.
