About This Call
The largest arts and crafts festival in Central Texas, Pecan Street Festival is a free, two day arts Festival held twice yearly at the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave, Texas, minutes from Downtown Austin. Taking place the first Saturday & Sunday in May and the second to last Saturday & Sunday in September, the juried Festival attracts hundreds of local and national artisans and offers original handcrafted creations in a variety of mediums - from metalwork, woodwork, fiber, clay, leather, glass and stone to repurposed materials of all kinds. The festival features over 200 juried artisan vendor booths, nearly 20 musical acts performing on three stages, and twenty food vendors offering both indulgent and healthy options.
This is a rolling jury process where once the floor is filled, applications will close. Booths are assigned on a first-pay, first-placed basis. Application fee is free for this opportunity, and 4 images plus a booth shot are required. Arts & crafts vendors may purchase regular booth or regular corner booth options at either 10x10 or 10x20 sizes. Festival hours are Saturday 11AM-9PM and Sunday 11AM-8PM. All vendor tents must have NFPA-701 tag physically sewn into tent canopy.
Pecan Street Festival is presented by The Pecan Street Association, a not-for-profit 501(C)-4 group dedicated to advancing and preserving the integrity of the Sixth Street Historic District. The festival is a family event that does not accept artwork that is explicit or indecent in nature. Vendors are expected to behave courteously and professionally with members of the public, city officials, and Festival staff.
