Paying Tribute to the Muse

"Paying Tribute to the Muse" is Vanessa Lacy Gallery's March group exhibition revolving around the theme of the artist's muse. Historically nature, lovers, children, and industry have been muses to some of our most famous artists. What inspires you to take action, to create, or to live your best life?

All artwork must be original and available for sale. No reproductions will be accepted. Any 2D artwork not framed, wired, and ready for installation will not be accepted. Work samples should include 1-5 images and 0-3 audio files. Entry fee is $20.00. The exhibition runs March 8 - April 7, 2019.

Accepted artwork must be dropped off during gallery hours on Saturday, March 2nd (11am-3pm) or Tuesday, March 5th (1pm-5pm). If you cannot meet these times, email the gallery to arrange other arrangements. Artists are responsible for insuring their work during the show and during shipping. If shipping work, include a return label in the package. Artists must pick up artwork on Saturday, April 7th (11am-3pm) or Tuesday, April 10th (1pm-5pm). The opening reception is March 8th (5pm-9pm) and is open to the public. Accepted artists are encouraged to attend. The reception will feature live music and refreshments.
