About This Call
Decagon Gallery invites photographers worldwide to submit to Patterns In the Wild, an online photography exhibition exploring the rhythm and repetition found in both natural and urban environments. The exhibition welcomes work in all photographic styles and techniques, from traditional landscapes to abstract interpretations, macro to aerial, documentary to experimental.
Submit up to 10 images in JPEG or JPG format (minimum 2100 px on the longest side) that capture the essence of the "Patterns in the Wild" theme. Entry fee is $24 for up to 4 images, then $4 for each additional image. The deadline is August 4, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. All photographers internationally over 18 are eligible to apply.
The exhibition launches August 15, 2025 and runs through October 15, 2025. Juror Wendi Schneider will select winners. Awards include: First Place ($500 cash prize and online solo exhibition), Second Place ($300 cash prize), Third Place ($200 cash prize), Director's Choice Award, and Honorable Mentions. All selected photographers receive a digital award badge and inclusion in a professionally designed exhibition catalog. Selected work will be featured in a short video presentation shared on YouTube and the gallery website.
