Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod Juried Show

This juried competition is open to all active members of the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. Eligible works must be at least 80% pastel (soft), original, completed within the last three years, and not previously exhibited in any VPS competition. Paintings must be framed, labeled, and ready to hang from wire, with a maximum framed dimension of 30 inches in either direction. Up to 2 paintings per artist may be submitted at $15 per entry.

Awards include First Place ($500), Second Place ($300), Third Place ($200), Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod Award ($100), and Mallory Lake Memorial Award (set of pastels). Submissions must be high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background, and must be oriented correctly. The entry deadline is August 19, 2025. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted and paid by the deadline.
