pARTy til the Cows Come Home

pARTy til the Cows Come Home is a juried exhibition celebrating the Great Cow Harbor Day Weekend in Northport, NY. Artworks on the theme of cows, farm life, the Great Cow Harbor races, festival, and the Village of Northport are invited. Artists from throughout the United States may apply.

All original media is acceptable, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry, and digital media. Maximum size (including framing) is 30" x 40". Entries must be original artwork with no reproductions except photography. All art submitted must be for sale, and the gallery takes a 35% commission on sold pieces. The sale price provided during submission may not be subsequently changed. Artists are responsible for insuring their own works.

Entry fee is $35 for one piece, with up to three additional pieces at $5 each. Submit 1-3 images. Submissions deadline is August 28, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Acceptance letters will be sent August 29. Selected works drop-off is August 31, 5:00-8:00 p.m. or September 1, 12:00-3:00 p.m. at The Firefly Artists Gallery, 162 Main Street, Northport, NY. The exhibition runs September 4-25, 2022, with an art reception September 10, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Artwork pickup is September 28, 5:00-8:00 p.m. or September 29, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Awards include First, Second, Third, and Honorable Mention. The Firefly Artists prefers hand delivery and pickup; if shipping, a prepaid return label must be included. A storage fee of $5 per day applies for pieces left beyond September 29, 2022.
