About This Call
pARTy 'Til the Cows Come Home is a juried exhibition celebrating the Great Cow Harbor Day Weekend in Northport, NY. The exhibition features artworks on the theme of cows, farm life, the Great Cow Harbor race, festival, and the Village of Northport itself. Works will be on view in The Firefly Artists' Main Street gallery, located at the finish line of the race.
Eligibility is open to 2D and 3D artwork including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry, and digital media. Maximum size is 36" x 36". Entries must be original, human-created artworks. AI-generated art, works created in workshops or classes under close instruction, and reproductions are not accepted, with the exception of photography and digital art. All works must be for sale; the gallery takes a 35% commission on sold pieces.
Entry fee is $35 for one piece, with an additional $5 fee per piece for up to three additional submissions. Up to two pieces from each selected artist will be included in the exhibition. Awards include First Prize ($200), Second Prize ($100), Third Prize ($50), and Honorable Mention. Exhibition dates are September 3-30, 2025, with a reception on September 17, 7-9pm. Artwork drop-off is August 29-30, 12-8pm. Pickup is October 1-2, 12-8pm. A $5 per day storage fee applies for pieces left beyond October 2. Artists must provide insurance coverage for their own works.
