Part-time Gallery Assistant

Aurora PhotoCenter, an Indianapolis nonprofit, supports visual artists working in photography through exhibitions, residencies, workshops, artist talks, and access to creative tools. Aurora is the only nonprofit of its type in Indiana that hosts continuous photography programming throughout the year and has the only rentable darkroom and digital imaging lab in Indianapolis.

The Part-Time Gallery Assistant position provides support in the galleries and labs. Required duties include opening and closing the facility, greeting visitors and providing information on exhibitions and programming, mixing chemistry and setting up for members renting the darkroom, and assisting members with basic scanning and digital printing questions.

Pay is $20 per hour for approximately 5-10 hours per week, primarily on Friday and/or Saturday. This position will remain open until filled.
