About This Call
Railroad Street Artworks Gallery is accepting submissions for an exhibition. Artists may submit three (3) works for jury consideration. Non-members' entry fee is $30 for three works; membership is free. Members submit at no cost.
Artwork Requirements: Outside dimensions of frame may not exceed 36". All works must be professionally framed with wire for hanging. If displaying artwork under glass, plexi-glass is suggested to avoid breakage. The Gallery is not responsible for broken glass damage. Accepted work must remain in place for the duration of the exhibition. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should show only the artwork itself without matting, frames, or background distractions, and must be oriented correctly.
Accepted artists must deliver work in-person to the Gallery during open hours. Hangtags must be printed, filled out legibly, and attached to each artwork before delivery. Mail or carrier delivery is not accepted. The Gallery receives 15% of all sales; 85% goes to the artist. Awards include: Best of Show – Three (3) Day Solo Exhibition In Main Hall + $100; People's Choice – Three (3) Day Solo Exhibition In Main Hall + $100; Juror's Award (3) - $50; Merit Award (3) - $25. Acceptance/Rejection emails will be sent via ShowSubmit. Artists can edit entries through the submission deadline (June 11, 2025). Entry fees are non-refundable.
