PAPNM 2015 Members Annual Juried Exhibition

The Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM) 2015 Members Annual Juried Exhibition will be held at Santa Fe Art Collector Gallery, 217 Galisteo Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501, from October 2–25, 2015. The opening reception is Friday, October 2nd, 5–7pm. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded, including cash awards for "Best of Show," "Best of Signature Members," and "Best of Artist Members."

The exhibition is open to all current, paid members of PAPNM working in two-dimensional media, excluding photography and digital art. Artist Members may submit up to three original works for jury consideration, with a maximum of one accepted for inclusion. Signature Members and Master Signature Members are invited to enter one original work without jury review. All work must be at least 80% completed en plein air within the past two years, original, and not previously shown in any PAPNM exhibition (excluding online contests). Each dimension of any image including the frame shall not exceed 32". Work done under instructor guidance is not eligible. All work must be for sale, with artists receiving 60% of the sale price.

Entry fees are $50 (non-refundable) for Artist Members and Signature Members; Master Signature Members pay no fee. The entry deadline is July 30, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted artists will be notified by email on August 31st. Work must be sturdily framed and ready to hang with D-rings and wire. Hand delivery of work is September 29, 10am–3pm, with a shipping window of September 25–29. Unsold work will be picked up October 26 (hand-delivered) or returned October 27 (shipped). Plein Air Painters of New Mexico and its members and volunteers are not responsible for loss or damage to artwork in transit; artists are responsible for insuring their work.
