PAPNM 12th National Juried Members Exhibition

The PAPNM 12th National Juried Members Exhibition is a juried show and sale of original two-dimensional en plein air artworks presented by the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico and hosted by Wilder Nightingale Fine Art Gallery, 119-A Kit Carson Road, Taos, New Mexico. The exhibition runs from November 7–29, 2020, with an opening reception on November 7 from 5:00–7:30 p.m. Awards will be presented at the reception.

Eligibility is limited to current PAPNM members (artist, signature, or master signature level) working in two-dimensional mediums: oil (traditional and water-mixable), wet media (acrylic, watercolor, gouache), and dry media (pastel). All work must be at least 80% completed en plein air during the last two years (works completed before September 1, 2018 are ineligible). Works must be original concept painted solely by the entering artist and cannot have been shown in previous PAPNM juried member exhibitions. Maximum artwork size is 320 square inches unframed (16"x20"). Each artist may submit up to 4 images; a maximum of 2 artworks may be selected for exhibition from each artist. Minimum artwork price is $400.

Entry fees are $35 for the first image and $10 for each additional image, paid via CallForEntry. Master Signature Members receive a separate email invitation and do not need to apply or pay entry fees. Accepted artists will be notified by email on October 12, 2020. Artwork delivery is between October 27–31 via FedEx or UPS, or hand delivery on November 2. All work must be sturdily framed or gallery wrapped and ready to hang with D-rings and wire. Wilder Nightingale Fine Art Gallery handles all sales and collects payments. Artists receive 50% of the sale price within 30 days of the show's close. Unsold work may be retrieved on December 1.
